I’m Willie Hewes. ITCH is my comics publishing business. ITCH books are made by European artists borrowing and adapting Japanese stylings. The motto is “manga with a heart” — the small scale of the UK market means the big money isn’t interested, so you get the stories that are in the artists hearts, not the ones some boardroom thought would be most effectively merchandisable.
