End of Days
About Dinosaurs and the End of the World
The dinosaurs see the meteor that is going to wipe them out, and they respond to their imminent extinction in a variety of ways: denial, anger, blind panic and sarcastic jokes.
End of Days has philosophy and humour and is religion-free. It runs to about 50 pages and was drawn and written by me (Willie Hewes) It is full of my many ideas about the meaning of death, the fragility of life and the pointlessness or otherwise of working hard and creating things.
End of Days was produced with the generous support of a whole bunch of people, some of whom may go by the following names:
Karen Yumi Lusted – illustrator of pretty things
Chris Bottoms – Comic artist with a funny streak
J E Miller – whom I don’t even know, but they’re clearly awesome
Colin Beveridge – the mathmatical superhero
Jennifer Paull – who likes cats
Taryn Conway – dinosaur rider
Jef Hutchby – mystery man of science!
John Aggs – intrepid explorer of ghost cities, also comics artist
Evelyn Hewett – creator of Fruit Machine
Charlene Woods – from glamorous Los Angeles
Rachel Matthews – action gardener
Ali Luke – writing coach
Pamela Slim – urban and office environment escape artist
I am ridiculously grateful for all of these folks and many besides, for believing in this book before it ever existed. Do you believe in dinosaurs too? Get the book, yo!
