There is a really weird page in my copy. Its the page where Jackie gets angry and her power starts to spark up. Theirs a page stuck on top of another page, the one on top seems to be all right but the one below is the same image scaled very large so it doesn't fit onto the page. also the page on top is only glued down on one side so it keeps flapping open. I'm real sorry if I'm telling this to the wrong person but I just thought I should tell someone. Anyway, great story and I really enjoyed reading it. Good luck with all future work too. Karen's art is lovely as always, and draws the reader on through the pages. The art is pretty much everything you'd expect from Karen Lusted, it's clean, confident and has a bright, breezy feel that flows effortlessly. The characters are well-defined, and the book manages to tell a dynamic and suspenseful story without taking itself too seriously. While not being a groundbreaking work or with any deep philosophical message or surprising twists, Superjax is rather an example of a simple concept very well executed. The pacing and storytelling are clear, the art shows a good degree of technical skill and consistency and the humour is genuinely funny. Well worth a read.
