Normally I use more lines for my hair than I’m comfortable with. I’m trying to work around this.

I’m still having a hard time figuring out Kiri’s face. And she is the oldest character in Phenex (as in I invented her first). This is so sad.
I only know that the weirdass fringes of hers is staying >D

I guess the best way to get back into my daily drawing habit is to get back into my daily drawing habit. I did this in my lunch break, it’s freehand after a photo (meaning no rulers to get the perspective sorted out, which I probably could have done a better job on).

I’m a bit underwhelmed myself. I didn’t have any reference to hand and I was feeling frustrated and lame. DBZ faces are easier than I thought, bodies harder. But at least I did do some drawing.

Another scene from that NOTLR animation I’m oh-so-hastily working on. I was offered a slightly extended deadline. The guy running it, Mike Schneider, is really kind. He totally understands how a deadline can affect an artist! I just hope my contribution lives up to expectations.
