I can’t do anything when it’s this hot. I keep thinking : I can’t draw when I feel this uncomfortable! Or maybe I’m just losing creativity… urr.. haha. Sorry, I should stop complaining. I copied some drawings from Bridgman.-^

Green tea frappuccino! I’ve never tried one because we don’t have them over here (why not I ask? they’d sell really well! >.<; ). But I love pretty much everything that’s green tea flavoured, and I like frappuccinos, so I think it’d be a winner…

My Deleter nibs arrived today. I decided to break them in, at first I was just stratching it on paper then I thought it would be a better idea to ink something done quickly.
Also, two books arrived. The Mayor of Casterbridge by Thomas Hardy which I really like. Fans of Greek tragedies might enjoy it. [...]

I didn’t get my entry for eyeko done in time, but it got me in a drawing mood again so I don’t really mind.

And the last, but not least of the characters. It’s Martin, the MC/guitarist. He’s my favourite, as I managed to literally, transform him for the better – From this strange pencilled & inked version (looks nothing like him, too solemn, doesn’t fit the image of the band).
Again, where would we be without Photoshop? :3

Some quick thing I did. I wanted to try out coloring using only one layer only. This is what came out. Was too lazy to pull up a ref photo, so that’s why she looks a bit odd. I hatee the nose. D’x

Did some experimenting with colors and shading.
On a side note, I don’t want to be stuck in just drawing anime. I go straight to it because it’s what I know how to do, but I really want to expand my capacities by becoming proficient at other things, like other mediums, other styles of drawings, etc. [...]

It’s Dan, the drummer, retouched. Tattoo added :3 Was fun to draw the tattoo part, or rather, trace. I basically went over a photograph of his tattoo, scaled down over his arm. I had to re-ink bits and colour it in a way to make it suit the rest of the picture – Tricky :/
