Sculpted my little wall area with the broken plaster and old bricks – surface detail will come later so that’s why its pretty basic.
It may not be drawing, but as it was sculpted with the pen tablet its nearly digital painting right? *slinks away*
Oh by the way! This big international 3D environment competition should be starting tomorrow, its called Unearthly Challenge, so I may be spending a lot of my weekend doing concept art for that – should make my updates a little more relevant ^^; (oh, and also do people read Willie’s ITCH blog? There’s an interesting post on there at the moment about figure drawing from photos http://www.itchpublishing.com/news/2009/09/poor-mans-lifedrawing/ I really want to have a go at a couple of the exercises as soon as I get some free time…heh, hopefully this weekend might end up being quite draw-y XD )

Nice digital sculpting. It looks very realistic. Unearthly Challenge looks like a really cool competition, I’d love to enter the 2d section but the standard looks pretty intimidating :s
thanks! but they pushed the date back again the bastards! >.<; i think it starts in october now…tho i shouldn’t complain as it gives me more time to try and finish off the project that this one is for ^^;
the standard for the 3D is pretty intimidating too (plus folks can enter in teams of up to 3 people for that, so i don’t stand much of a chance on my own), but i thought whatever makes me do my absolute best work can’t be a bad thing to enter (plus, i’ll be doing it for my portfolio too ^^ )
