I put together a progress pic of all of the different versions of my texture painting for the bookcase – all in all I think this is about a week’s worth of painting >.<;
I love looking back over my finished projects – you can almost see the cogs in my brain whirring as I try to work things out XD
I’m afraid its going to be more texture painting from me for a little while as I’m just starting my first painted character today ^^; But maybe at the weekend I’ll try to do some kind of little comic-y sketch for some variety ^_^

ohhh i really like this! and yea like you said i can really see your brain working things out and learning.
i really like version 5 actually, although yea the texture seems like it would take forever
