Ah, it feels good to draw a bit again, even if it is only a chibi. This fabulous self-portrait is going on the invites to my 18th birthday party, which may or may not require wizard costumes. (Instead of going out and drinking a great deal, I’ve decided that we’ll stay in and watch Wall-E [...]

I have to have my personal statement done in two days…eeechh…I have to very quickly think of some words pitched somewhere between ‘good’ and the over-the-top ‘fantastic’ to describe my feelings about the course :p
Sorry for the lack of posting. I hate it when my parents and teachers join forces to make me feel inadequate [...]

Kaiki turned up in my iScribble room, because of course (deep ninja voice) there are no accidents Good times!
I’m Lyphe on there if anyone wants to track me down…I still don’t know how it works…
O, sorry for not saying goodbye Kaiki. I was all engrossed in doodling :p

I’m back, baby! And here is the extent of my work while I was away. Yay for biros. Everyone seems to have been furiously laying into their jimans while I’ve been gone, so get back to that for the next two weeks…then results day
Ah, well. I’m impressed that I made myself draw a [...]

Back to latin camp tomorrow =D The prospect of getting a suitcase which would be far too heavy to take on any airline up all them tube stairs is horrifying, but everything else’ll be fun. I’ll be gone for 10 days! Woo!

There are moths everywhere. Also I just saw Silence of the Lambs for the first time. Well, sort of, since my mum saw it in the cinema while she was pregnant. My dad says this is why I like dark and disturbing things. It doesn’t explain why I also like cute things though.

Originally this was a doodle to see if I could get the reflections in a gemstone right, but it’s been expanded ^^ It’s done using nothing but the manga studio pencil tool. I’m trying to conquer my fear of long hair and sideways hands and such.

I am (fleetingly) back from summer school! This was the only thing I drew while I was there that wasn’t a diagram of a battle. We split into groups to do a tragedy and a comedy on the last day, and I was in the comedy, which was Wasps by Aristophanes – see, it ties [...]

Leaving for summer school tomorrow I’m cutting myself off comics. I’m just bringing lots of latin to be going on with. If there are any pretty buildings, I’ll draw them :3 Byeee!

Finally, all my magazine pieces are done… all both of them ^_^ This may be an inaccurate portrayal of a Roman dress, but no one’s going to notice. Besides, my mind has been warped by a year of looking at Greek dresses on pots, so there’s bound to be some conflation there
Am excited [...]

I had a fun journey to Bristol! Although there was no Willie stalking. Now I must finish some competition essays… Aeneid yay!
This is an illustration from my story. Although I’m not convinced that any exorcism actually took place, having read it through :p
My future schedule for regular posting: I return to the Bristol train for [...]

Doodling in manga studio! The sale went nicely. We sold the dress from the watercolour and what the others describe as the ‘crazy sailor jumper’, so a good time all round
Sorry I haven’t been commenting recently. I’m always hurrying off before I do -.- Expect comments on very old things at some point.

I have been called upon to illustrate my award winning (lol self publicity!) short story, described by Caroline Lawrence as “A good old Roman ghost story, with plenty of tactile detail and a mysterious exorcist named Corvus.” I like ‘mysterious exorcist’. So ya, this is him ^_^
He doesn’t look like I want though. Oh well, [...]

Kittens may be too quick to sketch…but my cats haven’t been kittens in many years, and as such they stay still for days at a time
The Young Enterprise-ness is getting tense. If we lose this final we’ll probably screw the rules and start selling stuff on ebay ;D

The sketching has begun! Short and/or sensible hair is sooooo hard to draw. But either I have to learn, or find out what hats the secret service agents wore in the 1930s.
Royal Holloway was lovely today…but…the Classics powerpoint was in comic sans o.o
University takes ‘a’ instead of ‘an’ because the ‘U’ at the beginning is [...]

Just doodlin’ some interesting hair. Off to an open day tomorrow! Mum promises we’ll go to Krispy Kreme.
@Nicola: Yep, this is a fairly inaccurate drawing of one of our new dresses It’s sleeveless and the pattern’s a bit different. We got a whole new chunk of stock to go to our next sale [...]
