and yes, those damn spiders. My house has a few. If they were the small ones no problem, but they’re the ones with tiny bodies and massive legs. Why do they need such huge legs in proportion to their bodies?!!?! It weirds me out…….

Aaaaaa I just saw a huge spider. 6cm diameter? 7cm? It ran extremely fast as well. My dad took it away for me, but now I’ve spotted another one making a web above my bed. This is horrible.

Perhaps I should work on getting over my phobia.. or buy one of thosee spider catcher things…

The Myth

I just finished this chinese period drama – The Myth – last night and it was one of the most depressing things I’ve ever watched (although it was amazing). ;-( I don’t want to spoil the ending, but it was so so bleak.. I’m still sad Ahh I really need to watch something cute and silly!

Hi I went to Art in Action at the weekend and went to a workshop on pastels. The teacher set up three large still life groups with different themes. I chose the oriental set and focused on this strange bottle thing. -^ The colours were really interesting as well as the shape.

Anyway, these are two of the little preparation drawings on different coloured backgrounds. Which do you think is better? I also did a large piece but it’s too big for my scanner and I can’t be bothered to photograph it’s basically the first one but larger.

Also, tomorrow is my last day before summer holidays
