Colour concept sketch for my wicked punch-dagger-like weapon.
On this one I was going for an old-style kinda Asian black and gold look, but according to crit it looked a bit too sci-fi for a ’single handed fantasy melee weapon’, so I very quickly sketched a curvier wooden version to model from.

Only managed to lay out the perspective in 20 mins on this one (had to switch to line drawing from my usual blocky colour as it was a bit too complicated to do like that ^^; ). I’m quite enjoying working on it tho so will probably do another 20 mins [...]
